I don't understand how they work, or what they look like, or what size they are. The worst part is that I don't care enough to get better at them either. Unlike furries (which are not really my thing but I'd like to be good at them) I've never wanted to draw guns. I've never looked at guns for more than two seconds, and just looking at a reference image feels like a chore. I like swords. I like knights. I like monsters. I'm that kind of nerd. I think I did a mediocre job on the rifle on the left, but the same gun on the right looks wonky and misshapen. Hopefully it's not so bad that it's distracting. Some people are really educated about guns, and can even name the model and stuff just by looking at it. Like how some people are with cars. I always feel like I'm dipping my toe into a pool I don't want to swim in when it comes to guns, cars, or sports.
