Good News! Family is out of town so I'm back at the grindstone (graphics tablet), and I'm excited to get back into it. Hopefully I'll be knocking things out of the park pretty face . . . Hopefully. This is one of the three comic pages I'm currently working on, and that's not including the Mark comic about his mom becoming Chieftain, which is basically on hiatus for a while.
Also, I have questions. Can you tell the difference in shading here versus my other recnt pictures? I've been using gradients for the last few months, but for some reason I decided to do this on in my older "painting style" where I set flats down on one layer, and then just got to town on the next layer, figuring shit out by the seat of my pants. One one hand, I have ZERO control over what comes out in the end, so this method is unpredictable. On the other hand, I feel like I can get more expressive and unique colors. Unfortuntely it takes longer, so some panels get minimul soft shading. Time. Time. Time. Time. Need more time.
