Overdone

Once again I feel like I spent too long on a piece trying to do new thing and get it all right, but I ended up just overdoing it without enough refinement, leaving me with an amateurish piece of crap. For one thing, I went with much rougher line-art than what I've usually been doing. The thing is, rougher lineart is actually harder to color and work with then super defined lines, although I like the way it looks . . . I think. I dunno. I feel like I've been in a real funk recently.

Yeah. The biggest thing is how I do the linart and how that changes the way I color. The thing I'm working on right now is a different technique than this and the Wendy pic, and I'm feeling a bit better about it. We'll find ot tomorrow how it turns out.
