Mark meets Rastaba
Added 2015-04-28 06:19:46 +0000 UTCAlright, here is the first meeting of Mark the Barbarian and Rastaba the Jester (and secret assassin). I hope it came out well, I'm working on it and another comic at the same time. Anyways, there's a sort of unspoken story going on here as well (one that I am wondering about writing). Basically, Mark has taken Cadence to visit some members of his clan, including his greedy uncle, his uncles super sexy wife from another tribe (who Mark fucks behind his back), Mark's cousin Ulfberht (another patron's OC), Mark's female cousin Alvilda (who Mark fucks incestuously). When they arrive Mark finds his clan being mocked by a travelling Jester named Rastaba, who is in the middle of her own adventure, but she's staying with the clan for the night, and can't help but offer her sage insights. I like this joke even if it's not really funny, because I think it makes a good comment about barbarians. A civilized person will take a joke, because people need to be able to criticize each other in a free society, but among barbarians who rape and pillage for fun, it is safer to keep one's opinions to unspoken.

I certainly like the humor in this piece, despite facts ands truths it all goes over the barbarians heads.
