Character Bio #2: Bokkie

This week I'd like to introduce you to Claude "Bokkie" Erasmus, the klipspringer!

Bio

Bokkie’s real name is Claude. The son of a corporal, he was uprooted several times in his life when his father was posted to a new location. He learned early on not to get too attached to the people wherever he was, anticipating the inevitable move that would sever whatever connections he’d started building.

This more casual attitude towards his life led to him becoming something of a scallywag and a rabblerouser: always the first to volunteer for mischief, and the last to run away, trusting in his speed to escape trouble. This is where he gained the nickname “Bokkie”: bounding along streets and through gardens. His agility - an advantage when up against clumsier people - began to be less useful as he reached his teen years and punishments from irritated targets became less physical and more about telling his father. Around this time he also realised he was gay - and realised his father worked at areas positively overflowing with fit, horny males.

The army base became a new home for him: he began working out there, exchanging his natural agility for strength and muscles, and quickly became friends with many of the the enlisted soldiers. Many of the enlistees were only a couple of years older than he was, and several of them had noticed his physical growth with admiring eyes. The antelope’s fine, almost doe-like features and short horns made him very attractive - especially combined with his rapidly building muscle. His ego was deeply flattered by the attention; feeling he had at last found a place he belonged, he joined the army straight out of school. The experience was…not what he expected. As soon as his time was up, he quit, disillusioned. His underdeveloped social skills, which had not had much opportunity to develop when his body had been all the men desired, had positively stagnated under the strict hierarchy of the army. As he watched new friends find partners and go on to live apparently normal lives, he felt that he alone did not fit in.

For the next few years he wandered as an itinerant, ironically repeating the patterns of his youth, before happening across Paardenrust. The village itself he found not to his liking, but after hearing about a group that lived in the forest, by their own rules, he was intrigued…

Character

Bokkie is a bold character who likes to make sure people know he’s around. Having struggled to feel at home for so long, he feels strongly connected to the motley, makeshift family he’s assembled in the forest commune, and will defend any of them loudly and instantly if required.

He is very sensitive to being asked too much about his childhood, tending to quickly change the topic to things he feels more confident about, like physical feats (arm wrestling?) or seduction. However, he is not necessarily the best seducer, having been able to lean on his looks for most of his life, rather than his words.

He is very well-built, but short, like most of his species; a “pocket gay” in every sense. He enjoys roughhousing before sex, a habit he picked up from the aggressively physical soldiers he lost his virginity to. Characters that aren’t afraid to deal with him on a physical rather than intellectual level are very much his sort.

He’s very physically affectionate and comfortable with nudity, and more often than not has his cock out. He enjoys hugging and close physical contact. He is often encouraged by other members of the commune, most notably Ulfur, who enjoy his antics and attractiveness.

Design Goals

Bokkie is an agreeable character that loves sex. He provides the player with an information source that is skewed against the manor, but one inevitably coloured by his own history. He is not a core character. He has been around long enough to have learned a few things about the local area. While very fit, he has soft features that give him a boyish look despite his 30-something age.
