Buddy & Andrade had a match for the ages and a finish that made my eye twitch. But that's probably just me.
There's a new TNT Champion, and it's a dinosaur, but if TK does what he should do, Miro will make him extinct by next week.
The Main Event is CMFTR vs. Samoan Bullet Club, and it's great, but where are we going with this? And does it matter? And if it doesn't, should it?
Everything sucks. You have to read between the lines.

The best part of that Andrade match was the "let's go Doctors" chant that broke out mid match.

The Elite doesn't draw ratings or even sell tickets. AEW TV ratings and tickets sales have been down nearly 10% while Punk has been gone. PPV buys down as well. And now if Colt Cabana gets released, or is moved back to Dynamite, because ROH is taped with Collision, Punk is going to get blamed for that again. And he's going to cry about it in a promo. Punk is the common denominator in all these issues yet he's treated as the golden child who can do no wrong.

And it would be embarrassing to see them leave because they started the company.

Why would he give a shit if they leave? He gets higher ratings than them, he's not gonna be able to work with them, they aren't even on his show, so fuck it.

You have guys that can carry the compost into the future, but instead TK is putting everything on a guy who broke his foot meeting some fans. Did you listen to his promo tonight? All he did again was talk shit about the younger guys in the company. AEW never needed him, and they definitely didn't need him back.

2023-06-18 06:04:19 +0000 UTCI was at the show and though it was garbage except the Women's match. CM Punk in his opening promo taking shots at the Elite, still l caling them children. After the main event Samoa Joe looked pissed, and not a Kayfabe pissed by literally walking out while giving the middle finger to the entire arena. Tonight proved Collision is the home of CM Punk and the problem children, Dynamite is the home of the future of All Elite Wrestling. After the show, Dax said, "it's not Dynamite vs Collision, it's all AEW" but thats not what the show felt like at all. If Punk wanted to prove he wasn't a jerk, he would have lost. But TK is putting everything on the back of a guy with about 1, maybe 2 years left instead of the guys who are the future of the company.
