Jeff Hardy is backstage at tonight’s AEW Dynamite taping, according to AEW sources. Hardy has been away from All Elite Wrestling since June 2022 after he was suspended from the company after being arrested in Florida for a DUI charge. The following day, Hardy was suspended without pay from the promotion and was told that he could not return he finished substance abuse treatment.
We have since learned that as of this evening, a return was planned for Hardy.
In addition, we're told that NJPW team Aussie Open is at tonight's AEW tapings in Milwaukee

I'm assuming that's the case. They were pretty clear about the conditions required for him to return. I doubt they'll have much patience if he relapses again.

He's been through all sorts of legal and substance trouble for years. the ultimatum was he gets clean and stays clean for an extended period of time to return. So if Jeff Hardy relapses again.....what are the consequences of that? Instant termination from AEW?
