The issues between Colt and Punk have to be worked out. It got so much harder when Punk buried Colt at the press conference. If anything, Punk's return and how things would be different moving forward would be key to figure out. It has to involve an apology, either in the locker room or public. And I don't even know Colt wants one--he wisely won't talk about it.

As long as he's willing to own up on his actions and take responsibility for them on top of apologizing personally to The Elite, Colt, and Hangman, I'll be fine with him returning. I love the guy as a wrestler, but he has a lot of growing to do(STILL!!!) and needs to know when to show humility and swallow his pride. Either way, I will admit. CMFTR vs The Elite sounds like it'd be a damn good fight.

Punk literally buried them in a media scrum and then started a physical fight that included Nick Jackson getting KTFO by a chair and Kenny possibly having to get a tetanus shot cause of a rabid animal biting him, and I don't mean Larry. I highly doubt they should be fired for not accepting the apology of someone who has a history of being a dickbag.

If Punk apologizes and makes amends with the roster and the Elite still don't work with him, they don't deserve to be EVP's of anything at AEW. Punk hasn't done anything unforgiveable. This would be huge business for the Company, no need to be petty.

Punk should return. TK shouldn't just pay him to sit. The Elite don't own AEW. There needs to be ground rules where Punk deal directly with TK only outside the ring.

Mixed feelings. Of course it would be good for business or whatever and produce a memorable match etc. I was very excited for his return. However Punk put himself in a big hole with brawl out and then the IG post, let alone the Colt thing. I honestly think he needs therapy and some introspection considering these deep seeded grudges, paranoia and lashing out.
