I love sitting for these painting sessions. Its simultaneously really fun while also being the hardest thing I feel like I've EVER DONE. Because I have to stand still... For a very long time (hard for Tappy's). Like everything else at Gen Con this year, posing was different. I had a mask on for the majority of the time, almost all of it really. I took it off for about a minute - just long enough for the artists to snap some pictures for reference. Since they couldn't concentrate on my face, I ended up standing for the 2 hour session. Luckily I wear an old, broken-in pair of Doc Marten's with Chandra XD And of course I got plenty of breaks.
The artists in attendance were (hopefully in order of the pictures that show up) Aaron Miller, Tyler Walpole, Beky Bell, Inklin and Steve Argyle. They all look SO good and its amazing to see the difference in style and focus between each. Steve's ended up coming home with me for my vanity wall of "Fancy Paintings of Me in Cosplay by My Friends" and Inklin's is my new phone lock screen :3 I believe Aaron's and Tyler's are still for sale? I can inquire if anyone is curious. They usually run between $300-600 with split payments available.
