Kasuowig Box Opening/Review

Fun updates! Wigs arrived. I've never ordered from this seller before, so I thought in addition to showing off some of the haul I'd write up some quick notes on the product and service quality.

I placed a large order at the end of March. The website is very clear that the wigs ship from China, so I was anticipating a large wait time (the seller estimates 20-40 days standard shipping). With supply lines still recovering from the pandemic I mentally tacked on another week. THEN the Suez Canal fiasco happened and global shipping got backed up even more. I did actually get a message from the seller saying that, even though their standard shipping does not go by those routes the backups were affecting other global shipping lines. Understandable. Also hilarious to me. I was just starting to get a little worried that my wigs had gone missing and reached out to the seller via email as well as a facebook message (they have the page linked on the website). I got a response back quite quickly that the package was state-side and then the next day I had a box of wigs at my house! Huzzah!

Almost.

We were missing a few things, I was short one wig and they only sent the hair buns for the KDA Evelyn wig but no base wig to put them on. Once again the company responded really quickly over FB messenger and those extra items are on the way. Obviously it would have been nice to have gotten everything right the first time, but the customer service folks are doing their job really well.

Quality? Fiber quality is great and the colors/styles were accurate to the website. All the wigs have the stretchy adjustment bits in the wig cap but they also have an added wire comb in the back of the wig cap to keep it extra secured on your head. Wig caps are big too. Nice! The little pig-tails on the Asuka wig were a little messed up out of the bag on one side but I was able to pull the hair back through and tame it back down with just my fingers. Kasuo seems to do a lot of character wigs and prestyled wigs. Could definitely be a great option for folks who aren’t familiar with starting from scratch. They come in nice bags which will be great storage options for non-heavily styled wigs. They also threw in a free gift wig in the form of a VERY long silvery monster. I’m not sure I have a use for it yet? But its always appreciated to get goodies when we put in big orders like this.

Final Verdict? I guess we’ll see if/when I get the two missing items from the shipment but in general I’d tell anyone on a time line to stay clear… Even standard shipping is about a month. Kasuo definitely gets bonus points for the massive variety of unique and prestyled wigs and their low pricing: the wigs themselves are priced a little cheaper than similar wigs from other websites so the shipping costs do even out in the end.

Its been so long since I’ve had a reason to buy a new shipment of wigs, I’m excited regardless!
