I was amused by this one mostly because of all the matching colors: cat and floor, mouse and rug.
Anyway, it is Saturday! And this is a busy month, and a fun one, I think!
Next week we begin the mayhem with the "I'll write your cut scene" Kickstarter, which goes live on Wednesday the 10th. (Preview here!) I've started pre-writing for this one, and links to vignettes are going up on Discord as I finish them.
Then the following week, on the 15th, the Aphorisms goes on sale in preparation for the launch of Kherishdar's Exception on Friday the 19th! Pre-orders for KH4 are healthier than I expected. I am excited. Lots of people are picking up the series now; I hope you're enjoying it, and, if you are, that you review it. Most of the review activity on this series is several years old, and I'd love to see some moving-and-shaking in time for the fourth book's arrival on scene. π
Otherwise, news-wise, I am doing a lot of drawing and calligraphy--you all see my favorite pick of what I'm doing once a week here, and the 5-10+ other pieces I do at the same time go on Discord. It's just too much to scan because (I am happy to report!) I am doing a lot more art lately. I checked my sketchbook dates and I'm back to finishing one every month or so, which is a rate I haven't sustained since I was a fancy-free college student with fewer responsibilities.
Part of that is certainly you all giving me prompts at the coffee shop, so thank you for your participation. It is fun to draw from your suggestions, and sometimes uproariously funny. π
And finally, audiobook subscribers, I got the last hour of PG2 yesterday! That means I'll be able to start serializing the Some Things Transcend audiobook here on Patreon this month. Lisinthir, Jahir, and Vasiht'h, oh my! Please listen with caution. Even as delicately as I went at it, some of it sounds reeeeeeeeeeally not-safe-for-work when purred in your ears...
Fun to come! Thank you for being on board with the Patreon, it is so good to have you. π
