Get Corporate: A Career Mod

Gah, so this is my first mod.

As a corporate girlie, I kind of wanted more corporate career options and interactions for my Sims.  The ones we have already are okay, but I wanted more well-fleshed-out ones for my personal gameplay. So, I created this mini mod, that adds 5 corporate rabbithole careers to the game and a few interactions.

Careers:

Each career has seven (7) levels:

Administrative Assistant:

• Office Intern
• Office Assistant
• Receptionist
• Data Entry Clerk

Executive Assistant:

• Executive Assistant I
• Senior Executive Assistant
• Executive Coordinator
• Director of Executive Support

• Executive Vice President

Financial Analyst:

• Financial Analyst Intern
• Junior Financial Analyst
• Financial Analyst I

Human Resources:

• HR Intern
• HR Assistant
• HR Specialist
• HR Manager

Research Analyst:

I also added two new events:

Conversation Interactions:

I added a few conversation interactions as well:

• Joke about Corporate Karen: Under Funny/Jokes
• Talk about work-life balance: Under Friendly/ Deep Thoughts
• Discuss desire to climb corporate ladder: Under Friendly/ Deep Thoughts
• Talk about Office Crush: Under Friendly/ Deep Thoughts

Pay & Promotion

Like the careers in the game, Sims will require higher skills for each promotion level. Depending on the difficulty of your gameplay, it may take a minute for your Sim to get promoted.  In terms of pay, I tried to make the increments fair yet realistic.

Work Outfits:
I used business default outfits for every career and level. But if you're not feeling the default outfit, you can always use the following cheat to change it: sims.modify_carrer_outfit_in_cas.

Compatibility:
This mod currently has no conflicts. I know everyone's game is different so if you run into any problems/glitches feel free to let me know and I'll try to rectify the issue.

NOTE: The event prices are set to 1000 simoleons, but the game may take 1200. I believe this is a glitch within the event system. Also, the guests may be a few minutes late to events. But they should show up eventually.

How to Install:

Save both the package and ts4script files to your MODS folder. They should be okay if they're one subfolder deep. In the game, go to game options and ensure that scripts are enabled.
