Weekly Update: Get *IN* here, Stalker

Hey Saucy Ones,

real quick before we get into things:

IF YOU PLEDGED OR RENEWED FROM AUGUST 2ND TO 31ST PLEASE CHECK AND SEE IF YOU HAVE A MESSAGE FROM ME.

There were a handful of yearly pledges whose payment methods failed to go through. This is a perfectly normal thing, credit card companies LOOOOOOVE to aggressively police anything even remotely related to NSFW stuff online, and since Patreon allows that to some extent random declines are surprisingly common. I only bring it up here and in peoples' inboxes because in spite of this, Patreon is really bad at telling people if there payment method decided to be fickle. I just wanna make sure that I'm able to send out the aprons to everyone's that's expecting them.

On the note of the second wave of Patron Aprons, everything got charged on Monday and I'm keeping a one week grace period for people who need to go scream at Mastercard or whatever. I'm making the wave 2 list next Monday and hope to send them all out by the end of that week. And if you pledged or renewed on or before August 1st, it's well on it's way. You probably already have your apron already. I got the very last of wave one, the patch-only pledges, into the outgoing mail Monday afternoon meaning they were picked up and on their way first thing Tuesday morning!

Now how 'bout a new video?

So the Project Silverfish video is coming along great. I recorded it Monday evening and I've started the editing process today as I'm writing this: labelling, importing and proxy-ing clips, getting the narration cut down to where I want it to be, setting up the timeline, and so on. It's going really well and I'm HOPING to at least have some version of it ready for you by end-of-day tomorrow. Being able to record with this new webcam is a godsend.

On the note of new equipment once all the aprons from this month are taken care of and I know how much cash I have left over, the next thing on the list is one of those cute lil' Rode lav mics so that I don't have to be so close to my dang screen when I record IRL. The camera works fine, but my trusty condenser mic doesn't like it when I'm so far away from it.

After Silverfish I'm gonna be mostly radio silent for a bit on the channel since I've got all those indieween videos I gotta do. I'll still be here, streaming, and around on social media, I just gotta lock in for a bit because I'll be out of town for part of October meaning that most of the videos need to be done well before things get started.
