Weekly Update: Well that was Fast

Hey Saucy Ones,

So those aprons are SCHMOOVIN' to you right about now...

So the aprons are already arriving which is really impressive considering that I brought them to the post office and hour and change before they closed on Saturday. The first ones arrive early morning on Monday which i know because for a few of you I saw that there was a nearby USPS locker for parcels and shipped them there for safekeeping since porch pirates are always a thing.

I know this because even though I didn't select email updates for those smartlockers but I got them anyway and that's how I know that somehow these things are schmoovin' through the postal system. Ever since Monday morning my phone keeps getting buzzed with successful locker deliveries. Also, congratulations to Itsnotzen for being the first person to get their apron.

To wrap up the apron talk since I think that the last month's worth of patreon posts have been dominated by apron fulfillment and I'd really like get back to making videos. Presently I plan to ship out the next 48 aprons of Wave 1 which are all overseas. Why 48? Because that's all the pins I have left right now. I've had a stroke of luck though because while the next run of pins and patches was supposed to be shipped on the 28th, I got a notification that they were on the way at 2AM Monday morning. hopefully they'll be here much sooner than expected. The last thing of note for those international aprons is that which I can't say for certain, I think I've cracked it: I THINK I FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO PRINT INTERNATIONAL LABELS FROM HOME!!! (turns out I was just mislabeling something on the declarations list and it was confusing the online form.) If I can reproduce the one I did, that means It'll go from taking literal months to get an apron to everyone outside of the contiguous US to maybe a week, well to get them shipped anyway, can't exactly shrink the ocean.

Okay what about videos?

Well Abiotic Factor is still happening but that might take a bit more mainly because I'm really trying to Coordinate things with Poe for streams. In the meantime I played a little Project Silverfish, and by a little I mean that I binged it and had to stop myself from recording it to not take up an excess amount of drive space, and then played it a bunch more. I HOPING to have that video out for you guys early next week and then normal viewers will get it next weekend.

I've filmed two more cooking segments for indieween and am pleased to report the new gopro I got is working great for them. I also now have backup batteries which means I can film stuff a lot more efficiently too. I also discovered that this entire time I had an adapter to allow me to mount my DSLR camera to a desktop ring light which means I can put this thing

on my counter for better angles. I found these when I was rummaging through the camera bag looking for a wide angle lens I had seen in there before. I bought this thing second hand and only really wanted it for the camera and onboard mic but there's a ton of other stuff in there, including this mount that I've been meaning to buy for months now. I'm glad I checked the bag enough it was just slipped in there with the flash mount. What's nicer for me is that now I not only don't have to lug around that large ring light or move all the stuff off my rolling counter because now I can film prep work on my normal counter.
