April-May 2021 Update (and a new Reliving video!)

Hello everyone!

Last month saw Seven Samurai 20XX and Alone in the Dark videos release - I’m particularly happy with that AITD one. Been meaning to cover it for years and so glad I finally did.

This update is a bit late because I’ve been working hard on three videos - one of which I haven’t given myself a deadline for because it involves a lot of getting in touch with people behind the scenes. It’s about an Aussie developer too which I’m glad to shine a spotlight on. I’ve even caught up with a developer over a coffee which was really cool, usually it’s all online. I’m not giving away just what it is yet though! Still a lot of things to be finalised.

I will say that I am working on a more conventional video about Scarface: The World Is Yours. What a funny adaptation of that film. It basically takes all the sillier sides to that movie and puts them in the most mid-2000s game ever. Simultaneously having both 80s and 2000s nostalgia tied to it. It’s another one I’ve been meaning to do forever.

The third video is also too early to announce, but it’s easily the most obscure thing I’ve covered yet by a country mile. I don’t have any sponsor deadlines coming up, so I’ve been using this time to experiment and play with ideas that have been floating around forever.
