Unfortunately I can't look into the crashes without a debug report from before you reinstalled it, but I couldn't reproduce it when upgrading an older install of mine. Occasional slow startup is a UI bug that I've been investigating since beta 4. Workaround for now: switching to another app and switching back will make the UI update immediately.

Running modprobe for both modules results in the following output: modprobe: FATAL: Module br_netfilter not found in directory /lib/modules/6.1.0-rc7-nestbox-00001-gf0d5a2174151 and modprobe: FATAL: Module overlay not found in directory /lib/modules/6.1.0-rc7-nestbox-00001-gf0d5a2174151

Still having trouble with containers on beta 6. Docker by itself seems to work but I'm having issues with k3s. The issue seems to be related to the "br_netfilter" and "overlay" kernel modules but I'm not sure how to better troubleshoot. Here's a pastebin with all the details: https://pastebin.com/raw/JKeGczDP.

Lots of crashes after updating to this version (crashed when attempting to delete a VM, crashed after attempting to install a new VM after clearing data. Full uninstall of previous beta and clean install helped but for some reason this version is super sloooow to start up when services are stopped. Other than the new slowness and needing to do a full clean install it seems to be working for me on my P7.
