The suit was custom-made: glossy, blush pink, and dangerously tight around his enormous belly. Every curve, every movement, was exaggerated by the rubbery sheen. His chest, now far fuller than it used to be, heaved with each breath as he tried to hold a confident pose.
“Just a few more shots, Adrian!” called out Lina, the photographer. “You’re doing amazing! The babies behaving?”
“Define ‘behaving,’” Adrian muttered through a tight smile. One of the four babies inside had just launched a firm kick under his ribs, making his whole belly shift and jiggle beneath the suit.
“Stunning!” Lina clicked the camera furiously. “That movement? It’s real. It’s raw. I love it.”
Sweating under the lights and stretched latex, Adrian was already dreaming of getting out of the suit and into a cold smoothie. But part of him was proud. He’d expected maternity to sideline him—to make him invisible. But instead, here he was: glowing, glossy, and celebrated.
“Alright, Adrian,” Lina said gently as she lowered the camera. “That’s a wrap for today. And honestly? You’ve just redefined powerful.”
He rubbed the top of his belly, feeling a sleepy roll from the babies inside, and smiled despite the soreness.
“I’m redefining sore feet too,” he joked. “But… thanks. I guess I needed this.”
As he waddled off set, still squeaking slightly with every step, one thing was clear—pregnant or not, Adrian was shining in more ways than one.
