-There’s a new project in the works and it’ll be using 3D animation! It’s called Fantasy F on here but you can figure out what the “F” means! This has been something I’ve wanted to do for years. There’s actually a failed SFM Liara project that predates the majority of games we’ve done. It’s been hard finding a 3D animator and Nanco meets all my requirements! We’re using models from Ryan Reos but I have models from others planned for usage as well. More information later and the first build will be posted this or next month.
-There will be a few new tiers. One will be another yet separate $5 tier for the animated webms of this new project. Members of that tier won’t get the usual art for Ember Island but $10 patrons will get the webms. Then there’s a separate $10 tier for just the new project and a $15 tier for builds for both projects. Basically, if you want the 3D stuff then you can pay $5 more than what you currently pledge. Otherwise you pledge the usual amount for one or the other. $10 patrons get both art and webms either way.
-And there’s always a chance that this new project doesn’t work out. I want to put that out there, just in case.
-This will not impact the amount of content for Ember Island. In fact, thanks to everyone’s support, the budget for it has increased last month. There’s two new backgrounds/areas but they’ll be put in the next build. A new area is the waterfront along with various places to visit. First addition to that is the casino. There’s also the sounds/voices and there will be more of that in the next build as well. Ember Island will be more immersive and there will be more to do along with more art every month.
