Important Updates (Pin-up Poll and Commissions)

Hey everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you’re all enjoying your week regardless of whether or not you celebrate the Day of Big Eating. It’s been a busy time for me already, as is typically expected come the holiday season. It’s been challenging to find time to devote to the next comic, and though it won’t be finished by tomorrow it will still be ready to go by the end of the month (though by now it’s probably clear the comic isn’t exactly “Thanksgiving-themed” anyway).

That said, I wanted to make a couple of announcements regarding the page as we enter the holiday season. First, after much consideration I’ve decided that I will not be running a pin-up poll this month. It’ll be the first month I haven’t done one, but considering how busy I know I’ll be during the next few weeks, I feel I should give myself a break and not stress over having extra art to make. The "Thanksgiving" comic and the conclusion of the penny arc will probably be the last comics I make this year, as I’d like to spend time focusing on personal holiday art as well. However, I’ve also considered letting patrons request characters they’d like to see me draw instead, and perhaps I’ll make a simple pin-up with whoever gets the most requests. In the meantime I apologize for the lack of a poll this month, but it should return in December and I hope the open character request makes for a decent substitute.

I also wanted to mention that I plan to reopen sketch commissions after Thanksgiving, Friday or Saturday - and I’ll be giving patrons the opportunity to take slots first. However, due to rising insurance costs I’m afraid I’ll have to raise my base commission prices: 

- Single character sketch commissions will now be $25, with an additional $10 for characters with overly complex designs or details.

- The additional $10 for extra characters will still apply. 

- Patrons pledging $10 or more will still be able to use their 25% discount, though may now apply it towards the base price of only one commission each month. 

I hope these changes are agreeable for all, and I’ll be happy to answer any questions regarding the prices with those looking to commission me when I reopen.

Busy times are ahead, and as always I appreciate your patience and support for my endeavors with Kayla and his friends. Expect more info about commissions and the character requests soon, and in the meantime I hope you all continue to have a good November and a Happy Thanksgiving.
