Regarding commissions
Added 2021-09-11 11:13:58 +0000 UTCi'm not sure how to start this post because i know i will disappoint a lot of people, but from now on i decided that i will no longer be taking commissions.
there's a reason why i only open them twice a year, because i simply don't enjoy the process of doing them. i don't know if it's the perfectionist part of me, but i end up spending way too much time on them, that sometimes i even forget basic anatomy.
i've always been a people pleaser and it took me a long time to realize that this just isn't for me. i hate rejecting people, but you should always put your health first, and that's something i need to focus on more
however, i still will be taking B&W sketches and ko-fi headshots, because they don't take too much time and allow me to be more loose and messy. emergency commissions might also become a thing if i urgently need the cash. i will also finish the remaining ones, but if someone changes their mind because of this, it's completely understandable.
i know this is a very shitty and out of the blue decision, but i hope people will still respect it.

People-pleasing is a draining struggle to experience and setting healthy boundaries for yourself is not, in any way, a shitty thing to do.
