They can’t change the situation between their families, they can’t stop the flight between their families, and they can’t change the fact that their parents are prohibiting them getting together. But still that cannot change the love between Pat and Pran.

It's is really sad cause they know that they really love each other but can't be together because their families are enemies.

But you don't realise it at first, since usually there is a big conflict or a fight, and here they just understand that it is impossible for them to be together. It is so beautifully done, I can't help but crying every time I rewatch it.
