This chapter is almost the length of a novella. ๐ Editing what I wrote in 2021 and adding new stuff. They talk throughout the whole chapter. It's an insane amount of dialogue. IDK if I'm going to keep it all, but for the first draft I'll just put it all in and hopefully scale back during rewrites. Slow going, but it'll be worth it in the end!
He got off on twisting her into knots, on her mental anguish. He pushed and shoved her to the breaking point and when she broke, he comforted her. He was sick. She wasnโt okay. She wasnโt even close to okay and she wasnโt sure how much of this she could stand.
