And that will determine the company you keep. But if your exes are true soul friends you know you'll have the rest of your life, then you next partner will need to be someone who understands that. Open communication always. And making your next partner feel secure in your connection.

I have never been in a happy ending situation, but I could always tell the male clients that had. They would be on the table naked and keep the sheet way down on their hips. I would ignore the gesture, but I always thought it was hilarious watching them squirm with anticipation, and then be disappointed when nothing happened.

I refused to date when I lived in my hometown because I’m related to most of the town through my grandparents. I was deeply afraid of sleeping with a close cousin on accident. I met my husband on Tinder and made sure my mom and his family helped draw out the family trees to ensure we weren’t related before we got serious.

I think finding a future partner within the kink or non monogamous community is your best bet. Within the community, you will find someone who loves you and celebrates/appreciates the close relationship you have with your exes. It is possible to love an ex, want to maintain either a sexual or non sexual relationship with them for the rest of your life and also find a life partner. That requires compersion which I believe is a word mostly used in the kink/non monogamy community. Your choice to keep both exes in your life is valid and there are folks out there who will accept you just the way you are. I used fetlife and meetup to get more information on ethical non monogamy. I attended several virtual events during Covid and it was nice to interact with likeminded folks. If you use dating apps, I encourage you to focus only on the non monogamy friendly ones like #open and Feeld. OkCupid has the option to be visible only to non monogamous folks. Anyone not in the community may have the same reaction as James and Fuhad. A part of me is hoping you sent in your question to enlighten James, Fuhad and the rest of the SNG community on other relationship dynamics out there because I do not want you to think your request/desire is inconceivable or impossible based on their reaction to your question.
