I know this might seem little and weird, but it is something I find consistently interesting during my years an artist. Even when you are not drawing, if you are actively learning? You are making progress.
All too often I'll make a piece, be in LOVE with it, then come back to it just a month or two later and be like "oh my fuck there's so many issues with this, I should have done, I should have adjusted this, this needs to be bigger-" and it's such a bizarre experience. It's suddenly like I'm looking at everything with different eyeballs. Since this was an old WIP that was loitering in my folders for a long time unfinished, it seemed like the ideal example to showcase the little differences in what I see from then to now! It usually won't stand-out to onlookers, but maybe this can highlight why some of us artists are so weird about old work compared to what we can manage currently, hahaha!
