Chapter 3 (3.9) Release Time

Ello Otters!

I am going to release something special with 3.9 since it took forever to get it live, and that is the ZippyApp and phone feature! While it won't have the resolution as the Steam version, it won't make much of a difference, as you can enjoy it to its fullest. The reason 3.9 took so long was an issue with the new animated background for the main menu. I had to go in and completely redo the programming to get it to work without looping the video. Give me a bit and the new version otter be ready! Thats why I wanted to give everyone a little something to enjoy. Now the differences between the versions are the Point and Click Spheres and higher quality images and animations, as well as features like achievements. I want to keep things for the players who play on Itchio or Steam. Otters!

There might have to be a patch depending on if the defaults I used for the new flags to decide certain routes are working or not. In the playtesting, they weren't always working, and it might have to do with the current save slots. It might require a new game to work correctly. While these upload, I am looking for the right programming to make it work with all current games. This affects routes such as Stormy's no matter which chapter you met her in. Anyone who is already on her route won't have any changes with the game.

The Steam version is going to become available as soon as the public version is ready so that way everyone is current. Keep in mind, it might take the Steam store up to a week to update with the current shop items such as trading cards and all the fun stuff.

In Otter news, I am working hard on Chapter 4! I am getting ready to gather our playtest Otters. There is also something special I have coming next month that's going to be my way of saying thank you for being so patient with me. You are otterly-awesome!

We're almost back to even, and I can't wait for you to play more Otter games! I hope you like what I have coming. Together, we are going to make fantastic games!
