Matrix Hearts Season One

Celebrate, Otters!

Matrix Hearts Season One is now fully complete! This is the Steam version of the game. It has all new features, like achievements, the full game polish, and the ZippyApp integration which is coming as a free update for it next month.

While this version won't be released as our beta Chapter builds, you can still enjoy the full story with all renders and animations. This is coming next week as Chapter 3 Part 2.

We really can't believe we finally completed the game! It went from no artist, to a huge delay, to animator problems. It wasn't easy, but most good things don't come easily. Heh. Come.

I, as the Main Otter, am enjoying this journey more than I thought possible, and am fully committed to making this the best game it possibly can be.

Is everything perfect? No. I have more to learn about proper lighting and scene work, and a bunch to learn about programming and 3D Boobs. You can guarantee my whiskers that I am going to master it!

Steam is reviewing the build right now, as they couldn't release right away because of the Mature Content Survey, something we had to fill out before the page even went live and apparently there was a new version. Yay. But we are going to update right here when the build has been approved and is live!

Edit: Steam has approved the release! Correction: the game is available as of 11:30pm on the 12th, CST. We hope you enjoy!

We have gotten a few questions about keys for Patrons. The keys right now are only for Big Ole Otter tiers and up, as we are only given so many keys to start with as this is our first release. We can get more keys later and adjust where we can!

You can purchase the game on Steam, as it is now live: Matrix Hearts - Season 1 on Steam (steampowered.com)

Otters really are the best. Our players. Our team. Otters in the universe. The future of Matrix Hearts is bright, and we can't wait for you to enjoy!

actually you can separate the game from the Steam files. Go in to your Steam files, then go to Steam Apps --> Common --> find the game then copy the folder and move it to another place on your hard drive and voila you can play it whenever you want with out steam. I did that with Fresh Women and Come Home. Works just fine. Only issue is if there is an update you have to update the game via steam then go back in copy the game files and paste them in to your other location.

dumbass...found I can play offline

Itchio is absolutely a great platform as people mentioned here but i suppose Steam could be cool :)

NoPro Harrie

would rather itchio. if you play steam on your own system, you are dependent on steam link. kinda like buying books on amazon, DRM controlled content: you buy, but don't own: they can pull content anytime. No steam link, no games.

We are going to look into if we can also put it on Itchio. It might have to be for the price as it is on Steam.

Blue Otter

Same here. We need an alternative link (unavailable in steam for us).

Purtox

I totally would buy this on Steam. Sadly, as a German, I cannot. :(
