2020-06-03 22:26:32 +0000 UTCThis is not 'my movement', I'm white & I'm not from the US either, it's something we should care about & I just said what is happening because reality is SO much more important than fandom wars or whatever and yes this is not only about recent events. Large parts of our fandom are behaving like a cult/hive-mind & prioritizing the wrong things and I'm so tired of this detachment from reality. Mass e-mailing BH because 'Jimin' is supposedly a trademark is just the newest ridic thing after a long line of things. Too many I see on social media feel superior towards others (incl toxic behavior) & are all about BTS' numbers when it should be about loving the music & not stanning for clout and how high in the charts we are. And whenever we're called out for our fandom behavior it's blamed on 'antis' or 'attacks from others' instead of some self-awareness, we need a reality check as fandom.
