Kentyrr Fan Art
Added 2022-04-21 21:32:10 +0000 UTCA while ago someone showed me these super cool 3D renders of Lena, made by Kentyrr. I really liked them and wanted to share them with you guys!
It's always fun seeing my characters portrayed by someone else, and in a different medium. My games have 2D art, but in an alternate universe they might have 3D renders...
This one above is my favourite. I think it looks gorgeous and Lena's likeness is pretty spot on!
Nailing the look using a 3D model is probably pretty hard (my knowledge of that medium is pretty slim). In this case I made a few tweaks with Photoshop to make it look closer to the 2D in-game sprite of Lena. Do you think it's a good representation of her?

2022-05-26 13:17:41 +0000 UTCKentyrr has even improved since then. He's one of the very best "Daz artist" around the scene at the moment in my opinion. And I know he genuinely love ORS, I remember when he showed me those back then. I think he really captured her well. But the OG Lena is still my fav ;)
2022-04-22 14:28:58 +0000 UTCDon't get me wrong: The 3D-modell is really a good work and better looking than many other models in the VNs out there. Before I played GGGB, I really only thirsted for realistic looking 3D-games. I even discarded GGGB when I first discovered it for its painted art. How wrong I was! I had to discover the uncanny valley when it came to 3D-art. Kentyrr's 3D-model of the body is quite close to Lena (a little bit skinny, but that's only my taste), and your enhancement makes the girl's face a little more life-like, but she is nowhere near my beloved Lena in 2D. A good contribution to the contest, but please, never feel the need for changing to 3D-art :) .

Having tried several times to recreate certain individuals in some 3d games (i.e. Skyrim, Mass Effect) I know how difficult is to achieve even remote likeness. Kentyrr is quite gifted in this regard. Thank you for sharing those and happy anniversary! I wish you many years of successful game development. ❤️🎂
