long winded william analysis here: loving the implications of william's guy in the chair arc for him, but i still feel like it's a way for him to avoid his responsibility as a hero. throughout the campaign a big part of his struggle has been hating and fearing his powers and not feeling like he was good enough (in terms of skill season one and more morally in season two) to be a hero. this may be biased since i personally would love for william to embrace his destiny as the wisperer and get his ghost powers back, but it seems like he is intentionally taking a backseat out of that fear he still holds. fear is probably will's biggest motivator aside from loyalty/love for dakota and vyncent, so i really hope he overcomes it, whether he ends up with his ghost powers again or not. i think it would be really sad if he gave up heroism because he feels like a burden or liability or failure. it would be really cool to see him face the source of his fears and emotional darkness and come out on the other side stronger and more confident. anyway, loved this episode and i'm so excited for finale in two weeks!

2023-09-12 04:48:00 +0000 UTCI haven't listened to the whole discussion yet but Tide getting his powers implies he may have gone against the prime force ?? in a way ?? I doubt they would ever have intended for Tide getting repowered, which means this is a HUGE character shift that was somehow brought on by Mark (we can all remember how Tide was so dedicated to the rules and such.) So Tide asking Mark to help him get his powers back .. that is sooo CRAZY that's crazy dawg ... like that's CRAZY .... (/pos)
