If they all took the teleporter, ditched their ship and left it alone in the black sea, I wonder if those ooze entities could eventually use said teleporter thus possibly accelerating the decline wrought by the black sea.

2023-07-07 13:32:22 +0000 UTCOmg so I really like the “Evil” corruption ideas they each had! Bc they’ve basically already set them up. Chip getting angry and saying they aren’t captain enough, Gillion and his obsession with saving the tree (But also his desire to protect the ocean. It would call back to how he was raised to basically always choose the ocean over the land and would start him down that path he ultimately rejected before), and Jay being so adamant on not engaging in the fight and being more flighty than usual. They’re all already shown to have these feelings and the corruption could just amplify them. They’d also basically be more extreme versions of who they were at the start of the campaign! Gillion the guardian of the sea takes it even more seriously than before, Chip who wanted to so bad to be captain when they first started out trying to do that AGAIN while becoming more selfish, not out of self preservation but out of greed, and Jay the headstrong navy daughter seeing the world for what it is and becoming more and more terrified to the point that she’s running home inside of away from it. I love it so much! Also Absolutely feel like the note Chip was given by Marble is hinting at him being super important to the things that corrupted the sea in one way or another. I have like 5 different theories and I’m definitely gonna need more info. I love this campaign so much bc I absolutely adore having theories about shit and finding out if I’m right or not.

2023-07-07 08:38:34 +0000 UTCI just realized, if the alphatross can be trapped in the mirror, they could maybe break of the section of the ship that has the teleporter, trap the ship in the mirror and leave through the teleporter without leaving their entire ship behind.
