v18 Alpha release!

This one took a lot out of me, I'm totally spent right now! But I think the pool party setpiece came out pretty well. The art was complex to do (lots of characters per picture and many variations) and the scene was the hardest to write to date, with a lot of variables and moving pieces. The writing took longer than I had planne,d but I didn't want to half-ass it, i wanted to provide with texts that were as appealing as the pictures. Sometimes I am tempted to simplify things and omit certain details or senences that pop only if certain variable shave been met, but I feel like you guys would notice it and I wouldn't be happy with my work either.
So I know it's not ideal and maybe you'll find this one short-ish, but I hope the effort shows and that you enjoy it :)

We know! And I of course believe you. As a matter of fact I really believe you work ethic is truly commendable and am still surprised that this game is mainly being done (art, writing and coding) by a solo developer. But you know how us fans are, we always want MORE, lol. Also I for one think that’s one of the bad things of the Patreon kind of established model: it “forces” developers into a more or less monthly schedule that not always is ideal for the projects at hand, but that’s another discussion.

2018-08-03 22:15:38 +0000 UTCI don't fully agree with this (I didn't find the update boring), but I've to say that I also would had hoped that the threesome with Tyrone and Jolene would have been different if Iris is in it or Ash is the one involved. I fully understand this time Eva Kiss had less time to develop the update (being summer and with her more than deserved short vacation), but that was kind of a downer this time around.

2018-08-02 08:56:09 +0000 UTCDownload a program to decompile the scripts.rpa file (I use RPATool) to a folder of your choice. You can find it in the game folder of GGGB. Find the resulting script.rpy file in the new folder. Use a text editor to read it (I prefer Notepad++).

2018-08-01 08:06:01 +0000 UTCOk so as I played further, I see that it's not just Eva's character model that reverted to her good girl stage, but the actual character did too. This Eva has apparently never done drugs, though in this playthrough she's supposed to be Thug Eva and a total coke addict

2018-08-01 05:47:02 +0000 UTCA few minor spelling errors and misplaced spaces and whatnot, but nothing major on the grammar side of things other than that. A bug I encountered was that my Thug Eva reverted to Sexy/Good Eva when she goes outside and meets up with Jess. Also sometimes one girl would be placed over another, which was funny. But damn, this is such a good update, and I haven't finished it yet.

"They changed the music and a raunchy rap base started playing." - Thug Eva wasn't shown here either. Thug Eva returned at "This one's for me, then", during the lapdance. And a typo from an earlier update: "It happened recently, No big deal.", said by Thug Eva. I didn't think it was a short update (unless you turned down the pool party, of course). Lots of different options with many different characters. And as always, you look forward to the next update as soon as the dreaded end screen appears! I would also like to add something that's not game related (without nagging too much), but I've noticed that a Discord channel for the game adds a lot when it comes to fan discussion and such. At least amongst the other Patreon pages I'm supporting that actually has a Discord channel. The community section on Patreon kinda sucks, and having any kind of discussion in the comments is a bit bothersome. So no further need for interaction from your part, but I think it would make a big difference for all fan interaction.

There are lots of things to experiment with in the next days so I'm happy. It was nice to see Jolene again. I thought that she would be more of a swimsuit type, but she definitely can wear a micro bikini. (Personal wish: Is there a chance that a character will wear a swimsuit in the future? There is something about a swimsuits ability to make legs look longer that I find really hot.) Thank you, I still madly enjoy your work.

2018-07-31 20:10:24 +0000 UTCBug report: - “poolevatopless” is the variable defined at the start of the update, but then “pooltoplesseva” is used in the rest of the update, which causes some bug in lines 109385, 109461, 109468 and 109545 among others. Better to change the name of the variable at the start. - Not exactly a bug, but… Good Jess seems to might be invited to the party and behaves like Bad Jess (doing drugs and all that), that happens because jessicagood is set to false at the start of the update and only set to true if “jessgood” points are >2. But the problem is Jess is kind of reformed previously (still living with her parents, in art school and not doing drugs anymore) if jessgood is only >1. In fact I think the only way to have at least 3 points is in the Dave-Jess storyline, so a “reformed” Jess in all the routes where Dave is not assaulted kind of reverts to her old self in this update, which could cause some problems going on. Is that working as intended? - As Breadloaf said Sexy Eva is show on top/instead Thug Eva in many instances. I think he got them all. But can be sure because I still didn’t run through all my preferred routes. - In line 112149 Dave should be Eric. That said… Holy shit, what an orgy! Lol. Great work as usual, kudos.

The image for the cheaper car is shown, even if Ashley bought the convertible. Different text is shown though, as if she has the correct car. Eva is shown in the middle spot, same as Tyrone when he greets them. When Tyrone introduces them, Ashley is in the left spot, while both Eva and Iris is in the right spot. "Normal" Eva is shown on top of Thug Eva (Thug Eva is the correct in this playthrough) when they try on bikinis. Both Evas are still shown when Jess appears. Thug Eva poses in the group picture, but Normal Eva is back when they're going for the drugs. She acts as if she hasn't taken drugs as well, until she lines it up where the Thug avatar is shown again. Then both Eva images are shown on top of each other again. Also: "The same could be said about Eva. Though she had been like a fish on water since the beggining. She really was in her element" - doesn't fit in with Thug Eva :) Thug Eva is shown correctly when Ash goes to talk with her at the pool ("I owe you for inviting me, ha ha.") When Bubba & Co offers money if the girls go topless, Jessica is at the left spot, then Thug Eva and one of Tyrones friends (Franklin?) is shown on top of each other.
