I understand Wu Suowei because he feels bad about having manipulated Chi Cheng, and he didn’t feel at all legitimate in his relationship with him. The arrival of Wang Shuo, who is the love Chi Cheng hasn’t forgotten for 7 years, makes it normal for Wu Suowei to feel insecure. I don’t agree with everything he did, but I understand how he feels, and it’s normal — when you’re too afraid of losing something, you often end up doing things that actually make you lose it, because deep down, it’s easier than facing the uncertainty of not knowing when you’re going to lose it. Unlike Wang Shuo — that guy is a bastard, even if I do feel sorry for him. Chi Cheng shouldn’t have treated his best friend like that, but Wang Shuo should have broken up; instead, he ruined the friendship between the two best friends, then came back 7 years later to fight against Wu Suowei. Wu Suowei never did anything to him — he’s the one who left 7 years ago. For me, illness doesn’t excuse everything. Wang Shuo is a spoiled brat throwing a tantrum because he can’t have what he wants.

2025-08-14 14:17:52 +0000 UTCi think wu suo wei struggles with the idea of being treated like a woman mostly if i remember correctly. we are all western so our view is like bro wtf are you doing, just let him take care of you, but if i was to think eastern i can see the "im a man, leave me alone struggle wu suo wei is going through internally especially after seeing them kiss and mentally converting that pain to seeing a way out of the relationship rather than searching for clarity about it.

This is the behavior of a pubescent teenager, always over the top. You have to grow up to earn Chi Cheng's unrestricted love. Shuo has done some terrible things, but he is mentally unstable and seems to have never experienced a stable emotional bond. What a strange relationship between two brothers who wander aimlessly from one place to another, always stuck together. But it seems to me that Wang Zhen adores his little brother, in whatever way.

Also he says he just wanted to get Chi Cheng jealous, but he was legit flirting with the brother, even Xiao Shuai could tell he was starting to develop feelings for that guy.. Chi Cheng's line was so good basically saying "I did not physically hurt you nor verbally abuse you even knowing all you did with Shuo's brother. Is that not love?" He's so right like did Suo Wei want him to be abusive seeing him flirt with the brother? Is he supposed to do that to prove he loves Suo Wei? cause verbally Chi Cheng was mad about him and he literally kicked Suo Wei out of the house, so he showed his dislike towards it enough. But Suo Wei got into the victim role every time and made up stories by himself. I liked how they did the conversation between Chi Cheng and Wang Shuo to put a closure behind everything. I agree I feel more sad for Wang Shuo ngl.

2025-08-12 14:01:41 +0000 UTC...... i think chi cheng and chengyu are strict tops. and the kissing was more or less meaningless in regards to anything. unfortunately a lot of gays do this, and yes i've not met one partner that is okay with it. definitely a trend that needs to end.... also i'm not too upset at shou's friend throwing water at him it was probably like getting him to accept a harsh reality that they probably talked about a lot, kinda like edna mode wacking elastigirl with a newspaper in "the Incredibles", that chi cheng does not love you, you are going to get hurt... which is exactly what happened, as far as embarrassing goes i dont think zhen cares about chi cheng nor chengyu to consider it embarrassing like they dont matter enough to him... i mean they jumped him and it seems like besides two surprise attacks he was fine afterwards and both chi cheng and chengyu didnt walk away uninjured... p.s. surprise attacks and jumping.... both tops lost points for me this episode i can't think of a more cowardly thing to do in a fight (this might be my Chinese side coming through). more BL adaptations need to 24 episodes i think i really like the pacing and every episode is a treat plus the 2 a week schedule really keeps the story in mind. i dont think they are brothers nor stepbrothers i think they are brothers kinda like how everyone in pitbabe is..., like i dont think it was a raised as siblings situation. being shou says letting zhen in the family... its giving adoption.
