Future of Druids and My Patreon
Added 2020-07-05 15:46:59 +0000 UTCAs most of you know, Druids will be wrapping up soon. It's been an emotional and long journey for me. There is another web comic in the works with my husband, but we won't be starting it until January of 2021.
Please take the time to fill out the linked form so I can get a bit of an idea on what the future holds. There are more details in the text of the form, but I'll copy it here:
"Based on the current timeline for the Druids comic, the story will be ending sometime in August of 2020. I always knew that this comic would come to an end; I had no intention of riding it out forever. I am going to be working on a new comic (one not WoW affiliated but still in the Furry Genre) called Skylords - that name might change in the future.
However, I need time to build up some pages and assets for Skylords so I won't be starting it immediately after Druids ends. Also, with COVID and my son likely doing home school again in the fall I'll want to have time to focus on that. And, quite frankly, I need a break. I've been doing a page a week since 2012 and the birth of three children. I'm tired to say the least. Skylords won't be starting until January of 2021.
HOWEVER! I do still plan on making monthly pictures, side comics, and Male x Male pictures like normal. So it's not really a break, it's more of a reduced work load.
Since this has become my primary form of income, I'd like it to continue. So I'm sending this poll out to gauge whether I will be able to rely on it."
Also, this would be a good place to ask any questions folks might have about Druids or Skylords or whatever.

Absolutely, if there is still demand for them, they will stay around.. and if there isnt a great deal of demand, but still enough, they may be done along side the M/M pics.. where you get it, just less frequently.

2020-07-05 18:23:05 +0000 UTCThat gets a bit tricky as WoW is copy righted and owned by Blizzard, so I can't really sell it. I'd love to do a print and I might in the future, but I would have to deal with it myself. I've talked with some publishing companies and there isn't really much they can do unless I go in and strip out all Blizzard owned material - which obviously isn't an option.
