2025-09-25 15:58:03 +0000 UTCThere’s no Ulysses in The Authority. But I can see the confusion that Griff makes here. The Ultraman suit is black and looks like the Midnighter costume (that universes Batman) and then there is Apollo (that universes Superman). So this feels like a mashing of those two characters maybe? They are a gay couple and have some of the best scenes together in those first few volumes. While I like them on their own I don’t really need an Authority movie. They work better when they’re separate from the main DCU anyway. That said, I did like them peppering the Engineer in here as a threat - even if she was a less interesting version than the comic character.
