2021-04-01 01:31:31 +0000 UTCThe thing that surprised me the most about them discussing it is that the ad is ONLY ten years old. Perhaps because of the incredibly low quality footage or the very regressive attitudes but I assumed it was from the very earls 2000y & only resurfaced recently. A decade ago is far too recently to brush something like that off as in the past, it's definitely recent enough that everyone involved should have known better.

2021-03-31 22:14:17 +0000 UTCRemember when they were doing Star Trek?

2021-03-31 13:13:13 +0000 UTCGlad Cuaron lost. I appreciate you guys talking about it, but Griffin Autism Speaks has not changed they’re ways really at all and still spread hate and disinformation. Supremely shitty organization

2021-03-30 00:51:37 +0000 UTCThis is the year I decided to take a break from social media and all "discourse" talk sounds exhausting. It's a shame the polls will be off twitter next year but they make a compelling point and it seems like that's the only way to stop strangers on the internet getting mad. The fun thing about it being so public is that the Blankies often have similar taste to Griffin and David (that's why we like they show) and it being so easily accessible to everyone threw in a wildcard of populism.

2021-03-29 22:26:00 +0000 UTCI was not aware of the Cuaron thing at all. Anyone who would ask you to review it sounds like a troll who doesn't understand the show. You can talk about it, call out the shittness when it comes up in the timeline and then move on.

2021-03-29 17:40:44 +0000 UTCDon't sell yourselves short! You have covered problematic things incredibly well on the podcast and I have no doubt you will continue to. I also feel like you guys could absolutely cover Singer or Emmerich just fine (though I'm certainly not clamoring for them).

2021-03-29 15:43:14 +0000 UTCYeah scrolling through Twitter after polls has been bad, would love to avoid it again

2021-03-29 15:31:17 +0000 UTCI only have a Twitter account so I can vote every March—I'd be thrilled if I could just delete it altogether.

2021-03-29 14:40:02 +0000 UTCThe subreddit suggested this several times, but next year public Patreon polls may be the way to go. If I'm correct, someone who isn't a Patron can still vote on a public poll as long as they at least have a Patreon account. May be wrong on the latter point, but I'd like for non-Patrons who can't afford to follow to still be able to vote on main feed March Madness competitions.

2021-03-29 14:11:08 +0000 UTCAs a non-Twitter-using blankie, I for one welcome the news that next year's tourney won't take place on that vile cesspool

2021-03-29 13:54:25 +0000 UTCI don't use Twitter at all. So, I literally have no idea what these posts are talking about. I don't know who is on what bracket. I still listen to these though. It's fun going in 100% blind not having any context for what they are talking about.

2021-03-29 13:47:31 +0000 UTCHold on, Frank Oz was in the Griff shortlist?! The Oz 2022 campaign begins now! Gotta get #1 Oz stan Rian Johnson on this...
