2023-03-12 02:39:29 +0000 UTCOn the basis of Nimoy not wanting to be Spock/being Spock-- he also has a solo album titled "The Two Sides of Leonard Nimoy" one side is essentially country songs sung by him about his life and earth and the other side is him singing as Spock. I kid you not. I own it and have listened to it more than anyone should.

2022-04-16 04:40:19 +0000 UTCSecond Galaxy Quest mention this series!! Please consider covering it as a bonus!! Iβd absolutely love to hear the coverage of Sigourney Weaverβs character alone and all the Trek allusions. PLEASE π

2021-03-07 13:44:24 +0000 UTCIn regards to early CGI, they mentioned the wire frame models, but the huge innovation in this movie is the one shot Genesis transformation sequence in Dr Marcus' pitch video.

2021-03-04 12:47:54 +0000 UTCGriff is dead right about being dead on screen. I'm a retired stuntman. Mostly I was a henchman. So getting killed by heroes. Many times lay on concrete and asphalt for hours. Once nearly 8. The key is to be the LAST henchman killed in the scene.

2021-03-02 19:24:07 +0000 UTCMe sitting down and getting ready to watch along: "And we're doing the director's cut, by the way..." - DOH!

2021-03-02 10:02:51 +0000 UTCWhen they talk about actors just pushing random buttons, it reminded me that Wil Wheaton said he had a very specific set of buttons he would push every time when he would bring the ship to warp. This is obviously because heβs a massive nerd, but pretty cool.

2021-03-02 03:23:57 +0000 UTCIt doesnβt feel right the first viewing of this movie for Griffin is also demanding that he talks through it

2021-03-01 21:16:19 +0000 UTCI must say that the idea of an all box office game episode focusing on box offices from the 70s is exactly why I am a patron. That sounds like so much fun.

2021-03-01 19:17:54 +0000 UTCloved that Ben mostly forgot to bully us nerds because the movie was too damn good I'm sure he'll make up for it during Search for Spock

2021-03-01 18:42:10 +0000 UTC@matt brown, the 1st and 21st are always commentaries, the 11th is bonuses and other grab-bag episodes
