“Camping” in Korea is very different than what we in the West think. This is more of a ‘cookout’ and all the bells and whistles are bought. Food is the most important especially in countries where austerity still lingers. Campgrounds can be well appointed with a deck and sometimes electricity. I have seen Koreans ‘camp’ with portable AC Units. There can be a supply shop and of course plenty of vending machines. Some have public kitchens.
