There's no denying that kanghan is one spoiled, childish and ignorant brat, but I think we need to also recognise that he could've easily ran out the door as soon as he saw the situation, especially knowing himself that he was walking in with an unloaded gun, but he stuck around even when he was scared. So I guess it's an indication that he's not completely hopeless

2023-08-25 17:06:09 +0000 UTCi also expect kanghan’s realization of his money and status to be dealt with too bc he asks sailom if this always happens when he doesn’t pay his debt and most of his flashbacks of what he’s done to sailom were of him saying money can buy anything + he just watched sailom face violence because of money and being poor.

2023-08-25 16:46:06 +0000 UTCi think the whole point of kanghan bringing the gun is to parallel that he would have been in a way doing the same thing as those guys that were beating up sailom. and that was his moment of realizing that. yes he should already be aware of that in the first place like you said but i’m not surprised he isn’t bc he’s the exact type of rich boy sheltered bully i was expecting him to be. i’m curious about how he’ll go about turning his life and actions around. i hope it’s well done but i have faith bc everything’s been well written so far. commented this on your youtube but i will say i do like that kanghan will begin to change purely because he’s seen what he’s actually going through and flash backing to what he’s done to sailom himself. seeing him truly scared for the first time and the fact one of the reasons sailom showed no fear to him is bc he goes through worse and he’s seen that. love isn’t changing him like in most of these storylines but purely seeing the reality of the situation and internalizing it even if he should have realized this in the first place. really hope it continues being this well written.
