Idk why but for a short moment I thought Minoru was secretly a young single dad 😂 I also thought that man was an uncle

The other similar word that you are thinking of is yokatta, which means great.) Tane is such a sweetie. And Inukai Atsushiro is pretty much the king of Japanese BL at this point. The roles he plays in Man v BL, Kei X Yaku and this are so different, but he slays every one. He is so sweet here, I just want to cuddle with him. Liking Iijima Hiroki (We're Both Grooms) portrayal of Minoru too. I love that they let the character say directly "I like it when you are here." The Dad confused me at first too. I thought Uncle or even just landlord who ran the pottery workshop. I think the Tane in the flashback at the end is much smaller than this Tane. I am guessing Tane is 4or 5 now and only 2 or 3 in the flashback. So maybe they met a couple years back. My nose for Japanese dramas is telling me that they met right after the Mom's death and Minoru was at his wit's end and Yutaka did or said something that gave him the strength to continue. Let's see if I am right. lol
