I don't know why but it felt as if something was lacking. I was happy to see kiyoi communicate a bit more. I was happy to see Hira get challenged to do better. There were some loose ends but I believe the movie will fill those in. Overall I love them together and I have said this a million times already but their relationship is so unique to me! it makes me so intrigued and so interested and it kinda leaves me wanting more. I guess this is why I feel something is lacking. I want more conversations to be had and I want them to be plain and clear conversations with one and other( so many things still left unsaid and it kills me) I have no choice to deal with the crumbs they feed me😭😭🤣🤣

The screenwriter did a amazing job to understand and deliver the characters. Now the movie... yes, I agree with you... 1 year or a bit less to wait...
