Guess who realized, after over a year, all of his Alan Mann Racing liveries had the wrong shade of red? You guessed it, me!
The REAL cars had a very unique, almost orangey red base colour, as proven by several period photographs. My old AMR liveries had the red based on a restored example. Can't trust those car restorers nowadays! Anyway, I'll gradually rework all the AMR liveries and add a couple new ones over the course of the summer. Expect to see a big patch for the Cortina historical skinpack to release on RD by the time I'm finished with all of them. You can see 3 recoloured examples in the photo, looks so much better (and far more accurate) than the nuclear red originally fitted to the cars.
