I am loving this Japanese BL too! I am not familiar with the source, but it would be such a change to have what we think are the main couple to start, but then it is Shin and Asuka and then Akira and Sakuma. Maybe that would tie into your idea of a time jump. They couple up but then years later, Shin and Akira finally get together. So tempted to read the Manga but figuring out what is going to happen is delicious!

I even got dark feels, like Asuka discover he was gay because a guy actually abused him... something dark (that is so me, always deep diving into darkness) Minato struggling with his feeling, the return of his love, Sakuma sensei, yet unknowed girl appearing... I love this series. I know this is going to sound strange, but... Sakuma sensei, I totally picture him with the physical of Kurosawa san from Cherry Magic. I know it would be strange but in a certain way, if the actor would be the same, it would have been so true inception...
