I believe Youpi is actually a nod to parasyte (Gotoh), or so i read somewhere, the manga for parasyte is way older than the anime and i heard Togashi was friends with or a fan of that author. Could be wrong tho i havent checked the validity, but the likeness is there for sure

There's 2 ways to hasten someone's bankruptcy: - Loan them more cash so they rack up more debt (hitting Youpi to lend him aura) - Make them spend more and deplete their account balance (make Youpi mad so he explodes, spending aura). This is important because bankruptcy happens when your debts surpass your aura *balance* not your total aura. Knuckle's going for both ways, though the second will probably yield the most gain, making the first unnecessary, since Youpi's explosion spends far more than Knuckle's punches lends him (if you ignore any future interest anyways)
