He was there for him when he was at his worst so he became a bit like his benchmark not to be totally heartbroken ... If you look closely the situation turned around, at first Taekyung clung to Daon because Shinwoo was mean to him and Daon was the only one to be really nice to him and now he clings to Shinwoo because Daon avoids him and broke his heart and Shinwoo is there to comfort him
