[ESSAYS] The New Century
Added 2025-01-11 22:53:52 +0000 UTCToday's offering is something a bit unconventional but not at all outside of what I've introduced in the past. Much like the Newtype musings I translated from the G20 anniversary magazine, today's essay collection talks about the broad shift in Gundam's themes from the "first phase" (aka First Gundam to Char's Counterattack) to the "second phase" (aka F91 through Victory). I think these opinion pieces serve as a better way to frame some of Tomino's works and also provide some additional insight into how others frame his works.
Anywho, back to manga and whatnot!
