Translation note time!

In this chapter, when Zaji gets word that there's a message from HQ, the two messages exchanged are actually variations of Chinese idioms (translated into Japanese). Oddly enough, they both have the same idiomatic meaning in Chinese. If my Google research is accurate, 绳锯木断 (shéng jù mù duàn) and 水滴石穿 (shuǐ dī shí chuān) would be the originals before they were translated into Japanese, meaning (literally) "rope saws through wood" and "dripping water penetrates the stone." They're the same idiom for "constant perseverance yields success."

So, rather than translating them literally (which would make little sense), I opted for English equivalents that would be better suited for localization.

There are any number of English idiomatic equivalents that could have been used, such as "the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" and "slow and steady wins the race," to "Rome wasn't built in a day" and "brick by brick, we'll get there." But, for something more in tune with his stoic character, I opted for the "fortune favors the bold" and "persistence pays off" angle.

Anywho, that's my two cents on the matter. Also, I don't think that's the DEFCON level they're looking for!
