EXP Update - October 2025

Hello Patrons!

It's Adam here with your monthly update for October from the EXP team!

Sword, spooks, and silly season!

EXP is entering Autumn (at least here in the Northern Hemisphere) with an incredibly stacked schedule full of exciting new content for you lucky patrons! On top of our usual slate of content (hello Battlefield 6!), we’ve got a range of bonus content and new experts heading your way in the near future!

In the short term, we need guns… lots of guns… Yep, we’re finally taking a look at one of the most iconic action films of all time: The Matrix. You can expect that episode dropping in your feeds later today (or in our back catalogue if you’re reading this later on), and it’s everything you could want from a Matrix Expert Reacts episode! Beyond that, you’ll also see another episode on the firearms of Battlefield 6, and a return to the cursed weaponry of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 before the end of October!

But as I mentioned, we’ve been busily working on a whole load of new, exciting stuff, so let’s jump into that now!

Firstly, EXP merchandise is available right now, and you can purchase a variety of T-Shirts, hoodies, stickers, posters, and pint glasses if you head to expvideo.info right now!

If you want to buy anything from our Cursed Collection, get on it right away as the collection will only be on sale until the end of October! And as an extra special bonus video this month, we got Jonathan to react to our Cursed Gun designs, including the Meat36C, the Struck-12, and the EM5F - you can check that video out right here.

Meet David Rawlings

Next up, we’re incredibly excited to announce that we’ll be bringing our third expert into the EXP fold, as we’ve filmed a slate of new videos with renowned swordsman, and HEMA expert, David Rawlings! We’ve worked with David before, and he’s an incredibly knowledgeable and highly energetic (he nearly cut Dave’s head off on one previous shoot) expert, who is passionate about his subject matter, and loves chatting about how swordplay is depicted in pop culture.

Next Production Meeting - Thursday 6th November

Unfortunately there won’t be a dedicated Production Meeting in October, but we’ve scheduled the next one for early on in November. 

Mark Thursday the 6th November in your calendars, as that’s the date for our next Production Meeting. We’ll be going live at 17:00GMT/12:00ET/09:00PT, and as per usual you can expect the usual dose of absolute nonsense that really should have been an email instead.

For anyone in the Extended Episode or VIP tiers, the monthly Production Meeting is an exclusive livestream, hosted on YouTube where the EXP team will spend some time talking through our plans for the next month or so of content, and field suggestions from you on what games and entertainment you think we should be covering. 

Remember, anyone in the VIP tier can also join us 30 minutes beforehand, via Discord, for an exclusive VIP voice chat with the EXP team. 

And, finally, if you can’t make it, then don’t worry as we’ll make the whole Production Meeting available on YouTube as a VOD to the Extended Episode and VIP tiers after it’s finished.

Survival Horror Halloween Special

Last, but certainly not least, we’ve got an extra special bonus episode with Jonathan Ferguson in October. As it’s Spooky Season, we’ve recorded a Halloween Special that focuses on a range of iconic Survival Horror weaponry.

Dave was not a fan

Asides from a lot of male wincing and cowering (Dave is famously averse to scary things as anyone who listens to Respec will know), the episode will feature guns from Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Amnesia, Dead Space, and a whole load more!

All in all - there is a lot happening, and a lot to look forward to.
