this is one of the oldest and most potent pieces i’ve written, i’m really proud of it to this day. wrote it during a very dark time in my life, and it’s one of the darkest points in miles’ journey during the story.
it’s essentially a metaphor for depression, and what intrusive thoughts can be like when you’re at your lowest.
but it’s also a good look at the main villain of the story for anyone who’d want to see what he’s like when he’s serious. needless to say, don’t read this if you don’t wanna be spoiled, as this takes place pretty well into the overall narrative.
