Magic and Atenkiji
Added 2022-09-20 03:17:57 +0000 UTCIt should go without saying that Magic exists within this world, but what may come as a surprise, is that Atenkiji are actually completely incapable of using Magic in its entirety. Ōra is intrinsic tethered to the physical Universe itself, as well as the Atenkiji themselves. While Magic comes from entirely different dimensions, drawn upon by obscure sources and rituals.
Because of this, Atenkiji are physically unable to use magic, limited by the bounds of their connection to the physical Universe and the natural energy which it has blessed them with. Humans were once magically inclined, but after the Great War, Humans were forced to give up their knowledge and abilities with Magic as per the agreement under the treaty.
Monsters, however, often have full access to the Magical arsenal and it’s well of power, which is what allows them to remain a world power, despite their dwindled numbers and weaker stature overall compared to Atenkiji or mankind.
