Beastborne: Exiled Lands Ebook Early Release

Took A LOT longer than I had originally intended, but it's finally upon us! The second book of Beastborne Chronicles is finally ready and in its shiny ebook package.

For those nerds (like myself!) who are interested, the 2nd Beastborne Chronicles comes in weighing a hefty 320,392 words. By comparison, the 1st book of Beastborne Chronicles is (still a respectable) 288,523 words.

That brings the series as whole up to a total of: 608,915 words. Not counting Book 3's current additions, of course.

So far, I have written/published (or will shortly) 755,650 words. With any luck I'll hit over 2 million words next year if things keep up!

In case anybody forgot (or is new) here's the drill: I'll attach and post the ebook versions (epub and kindle versions) for anybody who wants them. However, due to Amazon's Kindle Unlimited clause, I cannot have these files up for download at the same time as the book is live on Amazon.

So, that means as soon as it goes live on Amazon, I'll need to pull it from Patreon. Don't be alarmed, it's totally normal. If you somehow missed the chance to download the files, just drop a comment below or message me on Patreon. I'll sling over a copy of the book directly to your preferred email address.

This post will be available to everybody who is at or already finished with Book 2. At the time of this posting, that only leaves out Iron Marked. I'm going to try (emphasis on try) to get another set of bonus chapters out ASAP this week, which means Iron Marked should have access to this shortly. And, y'know, more chapters for everybody.
Oof, that aged like bad milk, didn't it? Looking forward to eventually working full-time as an author, entertaining you fine folks and no more "mandatory" shifts which turns my part-time schedule into full-time overnight!

My original goal was to get Book 2 of Beastborne Chronicles up in the first week of October. Mandatory extra shifts pretty much made that impossible. Although it's late, it's still many months earlier than my original projections back when I was finishing Book 1 (back then I figured Dec/Jan at the earliest) but thanks to your support I've been able to spend more time writing and less time in the back of an ambulance, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Notable changes: New Prologue featuring Rinbast and a special guest. New prompts for the last chapter and some extra scenes to paint a better picture I hope.

How To Read on Kindle (Thanks Ty for bringing this to my attention):

Option 1 (File Transfer): Connect your kindle to your PC or Mac, and drag/drop or copy the .mobi file into the "Kindle\documents" folder.

Option 2 (Ebook Management Software):This is what I personally use (https://calibre-ebook.com/) and it works great for managing titles and renaming things to put them into proper reading order (I'm looking at you Discworld).

Connect your kindle to your computer. Add the file (either .epub or .mobi, doesn't matter) to Calibre, and "Send to Device" up top. Wait for it to finish, and your kindle should detect the file automatically.

Addendum: Personally, I always click the arrow next to "Send to Device" and click "Send Specific Format to Main Memory" and make sure to convert the file to AZW3. I've never had a file fail to show up that's done this way, but sometimes my janky old Paperwhite kindle doesn't work with the above method.

Option 3 (Amazon's "Send to Kindle"):Get it here: (https://www.amazon.com/gp/sendtokindle/pc). It has instructions on the site. Never used it myself, but more options are always better!

Edit (10/24/20): Found a few minor inconsistencies on my final sweep, and some wonky spacing issues that crept in. The files are now re-uploaded with the appropriate fixes!

Edit 10/30/2020): The links have been removed, comment/message here if you missed out!

A simple file transfer should do the trick, connect the kindle to your PC or Mac, I usually drop the files into "Kindle\documents" but I'm not 100% sure it matters. Or, if you have any management software (Calibre is one that springs to mind) you can add the file to Calibre and use it to send to the kindle. There is also Amazon's "Send to Kindle" https://www.amazon.com/gp/sendtokindle/pc program. Lots of options, but my personal go-to is Calibre. I'll add this info to the main post for anybody else who might find it useful!
